FAQ

What is so special about the Get Real Fit programs?

Glad you asked. Our programs are just that...programs. What does that mean? It means the workouts do more than just make you move. They make you move with a purpose in mind. The purpose is bring you the best results in the least amount of time. You get fit fast!

The aerobic programs are special because I combine the benefits of martial art moves, which have been used for centuries to obtain peak fitness, with currant modern moves to bring you the best of both worlds...the ultimate way to exercise! The East and the West brought together by an expert in both fields.

Another benefit is that co- ordination is not required ( two-left feet are fine). You will develop co- ordination as you practice the moves.

The atmosphere is causal too. No models or professional dancers are used in the fitness DVDs. You’ll feel right at home with us!

The strength training workouts leave all the guess-work out. I do the programs with you. You are not left wondering what order to do the exercises in or what weight to use. I keep you posted the whole time we workout together.

How often should I do the Get Real Fit programs?

I designed the aerobic DVDs to be done two to three times per week. For ideal fitness, you need two to three intense workouts on non consecutive days. It’s best to alternate your days between the aerobic programs and the strength training programs.

When you suggest a weight for an exercise in your strength training DVDs do you mean the weight in total or the suggested weight for one hand?

I’m referring to per hand. If I suggest a ten pound weight for an exercise I mean per hand so twenty pounds is the total amount you’ll work toward lifting. Those are just suggested weight amounts. Listening to your body is key!

Why do you have instructional sections in your DVDs?

I limit the cueing during the workouts so you’ll be able to enjoy them over and over again. The instructional portion of the DVD breaks down the harder moves so you’re able master those moves before you start the workout and so that you can refer to them later if you have trouble with a move. My routines are simple but all workouts have a learning curve. I want you to have fun and feel confident with the workouts.

Why do you tell us to “breath” throughout the workouts?

Oxygen gives you energy. It helps you burn your largest fuel source, fat. I’ve found that lots of women hold their breath without being aware of it. They get really tired without knowing why. I cue you to breath so you get the most of your workouts.
